Free Clipart 04/15/16
It's getting harder to find ways to insert clipart into student (and teacher) presentations. Here are a few sites that might help.
Classroom Clipart
search capability
categorized
can download or copy and paste
Public Domain WP
Clipart
Search capability at the top right
Seems to be all (mostly) very appropriate images
School Clip Art
Not searchable
But lots of categories to narrow down your search
Usage info here - http://www.school-clip-art.com/usage.shtml
- they ask for credit on projects
And a reminder about Discovery Education clipart. They continue to add new images, but there is no search capability.

ActivInspire & ClassFlow 04/01/16
Last year Promethean and ClassFlow teamed up so that ClassFlow is now included when (if) you update your ActivInspire software.
This gives you a wide range of possibilities, including:
o Thousands
of free interactive resources;
o Students
and teachers can project digital learning resources from any mobile device to
an electronic display that the entire class can see;
o Students
can receive, send, draw or interact with one another or with the instructor
individually concerning lesson content;
o Teachers
can create instant polls;
o Anybody
can connect from their mobile device with a built-in digital whiteboard;
o
Presentations, slides and notes collected from a
lesson can be sent to the entire classroom;
A search for “ActivInspire
ClassFlow” on YouTube will bring up quite a few videos for you if you’re
interested. Christy Foster may also be teaching this over the summer…still learning it!
Office 365 and Password Changes 04/01/16
NOTE: Many of our elementary teachers and administrators
don't sync their Office 365. As a
result, I don't necessarily recommend that you send this information out to
EVERYONE on your elementary campus.
However, you might be asked about something as it relates to this, so
you might keep this information for future reference.
Network Password Change: Potential Office 365 Sync Issues
Recently, we've seen a few issues related to changing your network password and the
effect it might have on syncing Office 365.
When changing your network password, the ability for your
computer to sync with Office 365 may be temporarily problematic. Just wait a
few hours, or sometimes even until the next morning, and these issues resolve
themselves.
As a result, you may want to recommend to your campus personnel that when they
need or want to change their network password, it might be better to do it at the end
of the school day if possible. This would prevent any network syncing issues being experienced throughout the day.
